Dr. John Narteh MacCarthy is a distinguished academic, practitioner, and thought leader in taxation, accounting, and finance.

As a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Practitioner with the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIT-GH), Dr. MacCarthy brings unparalleled expertise and over 12 years of experience in taxation, accounting, auditing, and corporate finance across industry and practice.
He holds a Doctorate in Finance and an MBA in Banking and Finance, embodying the pursuit of excellence and continuous growth. Currently, he serves as a lecturer at the Faculty of Banking and Finance, University of Professional Studies, Accra, where he inspires future leaders by teaching taxation and business-related subjects.

Formerly the Managing Partner of Joeking Business Solutions, he now serves as the CEO of Accounting Code Solutions Ltd—a firm committed to empowering SMEs and professionals through financial consulting, tax advisory, corporate secretarial services, and innovative accounting solutions.

Dr. MacCarthy is a prolific author and researcher, with a wealth of publications in esteemed academic and professional journals, including the Social Science Research Network (SSRN), European Journal of Business and Management, and International Journal of Accounting and Finance.
